Welcome to the ASIS International - Phoenix Chapter website! 

Chartered in 1958, our chapter has been active in the Valley of the Sun for over 50 years.  There is no better place to find the tools and contacts you will need to become an expert in the security profession. In addition to the traditional ASIS activities and programs, the Phoenix Chapter is very active in the community with our charitable work.

We have a incredible membership base but our goal is to continue to add more leaders in the security industry to our chapter. Come on in and see the many benefits our chapter offers.

ASIS Certifications

January Meeting Information

Wednesday January 21st 2015

FBI Special Agent William Lace will be the speaker at our January meeting to discuss the topic of:  Economic Espionage and Counterintelligence Threats.

 William Lace has been a special agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation for 16 years. He has served as the FBI Phoenix Division's Counterintelligence Strategic Partnership coordinator for the past 5 years. As the coordinator, Mr. Lace oversees the FBI's Business Alliance and Academic Alliance programs within the State of Arizona, working with business and academia on national security issues such as the protection of classified information and intellectual property, the prevention and mitigation of cyber intrusions, and the protection of information for overseas travelers.

Mr. Lace has been assigned to counterintelligence squads for the entirety of his FBI career and worked at the FBI Washington, D.C. field office before transferring to Phoenix in 2005. In 2003, he received the Director's Award for Outstanding Counterintelligence Investigation for his work on the Brian Patrick Regan espionage investigation. Prior to joining the FBI, Mr. Lace worked for 7 years as a civil engineer in private consulting practices.

SA Lace will present on EE/Counterintelligence and show us the movie:  "The Company Man", which is a true story economic espionage case.  He will also take questions after the presentation.  Make sure you mark your calendars to attend our January Meeting on Wednesday January 21st 2015.

  

The venue is the Crestview Building at the Sheraton Crescent Corporate Center, located at 2620 West Dunlap Road in Phoenix.  The Crestview Building is the separate building in front of the main entrance to the hotel.  Parking is all around the Crestview Building and also covered parking at no charge.

Cost at the door for local Chapter ASIS members will be $25.00 (cash or check) or if you choose, by PayPal which costs $26.00. Anyone who RSVP’s after the date above will pay $30 for members and non-members.  Please send all PayPal payments to Chapter Treasurer Jordan Cote at phx.asis@gmail.com.
