Just a short introduction of our July 21, 2010 speaker:
Russell Rowe, President of Chief Security Officers, an international supplier of regulatory
compliance, audit, IT security, eDiscovery, forensics and business continuity services to global corporations. Russ has over
28 years experience in companies ranging in size from venture capital startups to Fortune 300 companies with $12 billion in
revenue. Russ is a member of the Arizona Business Leadership Association and lives with his wife and two children in
Scottsdale.
TOPIC:
Mr. Rowe will examine the changes made to the Health Insurance Portability
Accountability Act of 1995 (HIPPA) through the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act (HITECH)
and the resulting increases in enforcement capabilities at both
State and Federal levels.
