We are pleased to announce the 2007 ASIS Security Officer of the Year is Brian Cole of Wackenhut Security. While performing his duties as Security Officer for Wackenhut Security client Progressive Insurance recognizes his efforts during an incident in the summer of 2007 assisting an employee in a health crisis. The 2007 ASIS Security Professional of the Year award has been presented to Don Kelly of Avnet. As Security Manager for Avnet, Don is recognized for his efforts to plan, organize, direct and implement corporate security policies. A heartfelt congratulations to each of you for an incredible job well-done. Being nominated by your fellow professionals is an achievement and should be regarded as such.
